Haley & Lauren

The one and only reason I quit smoking was for my Great twin Nieces, Haley Ann and Lauren Ellen West...they were my inspiration and it has been 5 yrs now that I am smoke free! I love those little girls and it just was not fair to have them subjected to cigarette smoke and all it's dangers that goes with it. I spent Christmas with my girls in New England and what a treat that was ! My Niece Joellen is like my own daughter she is the girls mother, we had a great time together hopefully they will come to Florida for a visit real soon. The girls were saving their money to see "Mickey Mouse" and of course Aunty had to help them out...lol They are Blessed that they do not have a lung disease and because of them I will do what I can to make sure they do not ever have to go thru the ill effects of a lung disease. Hopefully the way the laws are going smoking will be history as well as all of the other pollutents in our world...

Welcome to Our World

Here we are again after a brief intermission thru no faul of my own! Seems there was some confusion with the Blogger Site...so I had to rename my site. I only hope that all my friends will find me, I will of course send out notices of the new name, I am so sorry for the confusion.
I last posted on my visit to New England it was wonderful however, I have to share this with all of you, I spent a few days with my Brother and his family, the tenants below him are chain smokers and yupper ! the smoke made it's way up thru the walls much to my shagrin...when I returned home to Florida it took 3 entire days to run my sleep apnea machine to rid the smell of cigarett smoke ! I did not realize the smell was making it's way into the bedroom I was sleeping in, of course once I put the sleep apnea mask on at night I could not smell anything, and in the morning no smoke odor at all, apparantly during the day is when the smoke made it's way up! Of course we were out visiting and didnt realize the damage!
